Commercial airline
VT works with British Airways to manage and maintain ground support equipment across four of the largest airports in the UK. Delivered through VT Critical Services airside business, the contract is one of the largest of its kind in the world.

Fire and rescue
VT has designed, built and is now operating four fire training facilities. At Severn Park in Bristol, we provide the day to day management and operation of a centre used by Devon & Somerset, Avon and Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Services. At Cardiff Gate, we provide a similar service to South Wales Fire and Rescue Service. All centres also provide training to commercial customers.
VT has recently been awarded the contract to manage the New Dimension fleet of more than 500 emergency vehicles and equipment modules. These are used for dealing with major emergencies such as floods, terrorist attacks and urban search and rescue.

Marine
VT owns, maintains and operates a number of vessels around the UK. One of these vessels, RV Prince Madog is used by marine scientists to study the biology, chemistry, geology and physics of our seas, and is available for commercial charter.

Police
VT provides maintenance, short-term rental requirements and collision repair of 3600 vehicles owned by London’s Metropolitan Police Service. The company has invested in two purpose built £10 million facilities to maintain the fleet that travels over 63 million miles a year, and provides a guaranteed level of availability to the customer.
