Case study:
Dounreay
At Dounreay for DSRL we provide a workforce of approximately 80
personnel to carry out the operations and maintenance on the PFR
and DFR reactors. The workforce includes project management,
supervision and labour. The work includes operations and
maintenance under Site License Requirements (Specifically License
Conditions 26 & 28)
We have provided management supervision and labour for maintenance
during the statutory outages at the majority of the Civil Nuclear
Power Stations.
British Energy: AGR Power Stations
Babcock has a contract to maintain and operate a suite of reactor
inspection equipment which is used to monitor the condition of the
graphite within the reactor cores of British Energy's AGR Power
Stations. This team provides information required to meet the
statutory inspection requirements demanded by the NII.
