Our capability ranges from advanced surface warships including Frigates, Corvettes, Fast Attack Craft and Mine Counter Measure solutions to Offshore Patrol Vessels and Patrol Craft for EEZ Management and Fishery Protection Duties. As an established Prime Contractor in both the UK and Overseas, VT can offer a total solutions approach including vessel design and system integration, construction in state-of-the-art facilities in Portsmouth Naval Base as well as comprehensive training and support packages. VT can also offer complete in-country build support and technical assistance through Technology Transfer agreements and work with the customer’s local supplier base to ensure local industrial participation for major naval programmes.

VT Halmatic is a leading commercial and military boat builders with a client list including the UK MOD, RNLI, H.M. Customs & Excise as well as a variety of Military and Commercial authorities worldwide. As a provider of RN small boats for Op Telic, VT Halmatic maintains its position as designer, builder and maintainer of some of the most technically advance small craft available in today's market place. The VT Composite Technology Centre (CTC) was formed in 2001 by the amalgamation of composite expertise from various divisions within the VT Group. The CTC provides engineering solutions across a wide range of composite applications, from design to production. The CTC also manages a wide range of projects outside of the shipbuilding market. Contracts have been successfully completed in the military, transport, offshore, nuclear and civil engineering industries. VT Maritime Dynamics (MDI) is the world leader in marine motion control solutions for the international fast ferry and high performance military craft sectors. The company was formed in 1972 by a group of aerospace and marine engineers, and employs cutting-edge technology and design methodologies to control vessel motion. VT Naiad Marine is the world’s leading supplier of yacht roll stabilisation systems, with around 4000 systems in service. In addition to high performance, NAIAD equipment is recognised as a benchmark of the yacht industry for its robust design and reliability. VT Marine Products UK Ltd designs and manufactures a wide range of products for the military, commercial and leisure markets, including stabilizers, hydraulic steering gear, integrated ride control and control system upgrades.
