VT Aerospace has been providing aviation and technical support services to government organisations in varied cultural environments for over 70 years. These range from the provision and maintenance of rotary or fixed wing aircraft to the development of through-life integrated support packages, PFI/PPP projects and the delivery of flying training.
VT Land is the Army Training part of VT Defence. The British Army Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) and VT has partnered since 1998 to provide training across a wide range of technical subjects. This training is also provided to other armed forces, industry and commerce. VT Army Training operates from three sites, Arborfield, Bordon and Portchester with some 600 employees.
VT Naval Support has a proven track record of providing quality support to customers in the UK Ministry of Defence and Overseas Navies. Established over 40 years ago, to provide engineering and logistics support to ships constructed by VT Shipbuilding, the company has now developed its business activities to offer a comprehensive array of Contractor Logistic Support services for all Naval Platforms.
VT Critical Services includes VT Emergency Services and VT Airside Solutions.
VT Emergency Services provides training and training facilities to a number of UK regional Fire and Rescue Services and are also involved in various Homeland Defence opportunities with customers including the Metropolitan Police.
VT Airside Solutions provides fleet management and asset leasing services to customers including British Airways.
Flagship Training is a joint venture between VT and BAE SYSTEMS. Flagship Training has a long term partnering arrangement with the UK Ministry of Defence to offer cost effective training and facilities management services both to UK and overseas governments and industry around the world.
Fleet Support Ltd is another joint venture between VT and BAE Systems, managing the repair and maintenance of both Royal Navy vessels and commercial ships from its base at Portsmouth Dockyard. Not only is FSL one of the UK’s leading ship repair companies, it is also a major logistics provider. |
